Brrrrr!
We’re having a definite cold spell. Nighttime low of 13 degrees Sunday, and high of 19 degrees New Year’s day. Today’s high appears to be all the way up to 27, but tomorrow is supposed to be 53. A definite heat wave.
The solar mass floor appears to be at least tempering the outside cold, even without the sun (we haven’t seen the sun since Christmas day). A couple of days of sunshine should replenish some of the lost heat.
